The Faceling is an unsettling, human-like entity found in the Backrooms, distinguished by its lack of discernible facial features such as eyes, nose, or mouth. Dressed in a variety of garments but commonly bare-chested and wearing shorts, these faceless beings give off an eerie, patchwork-like impression, with seams running irregularly across their bodies. Despite their lack of traditional sensory features, Facelings seem capable of detecting nearby Wanderers, and while they are impervious to edible distractions, they can be affected by Attack Items. Upon defeat, Wanderers might have a chance to acquire a valuable Painite Gem, adding an element of risk and reward to encounters with these puzzling, faceless entities.
